Fifth gen iPod Touch revealed - Apple A5 chip, 4 inch display, 7x graphics power

Apple has announced the 5th gen iPod Touch featuring an Apple A5 chip(the same as used in the iPhone 4S), and is claiming 7x graphics performance compared to the old iPod Touch. It has the same 4 inch display as used in the iPhone 5 - we're guessing without the IPS technology.

iPhone 5's processor - A6 chip with 2x power

The new A6 chip in the iPhone 5 is reportedly 2x faster than the 4S', while consuming even less energy.

The iPhone 5 will retain the same camera as the previous iPhone, but is said to be 25 percent smaller.

Apple has just announced its next iPhone - dubbed the iPhone 5, this new smartphone features a larger screen (4 inches versus 3.5 inches), a new processor (Apple A6) and a higher screen resolution of 1136 x 640. While not an 'HD' screen, it still packs 326ppi, which is respectable. More as the story develops.
